Adam Campbell is a musician and sound artist from Glasgow. He works in the fields of improvisation, live performance, software design, analogue and digital synthesis, and installation. Mainly found in collaborative contexts, his work has been presented across Europe and North America. I became aware of Adam’s work through his association with the Boar Collective which is a wonderful group of young composers/improvisers burrowing their way through the layers of music’s subterranean noise. Adam recently brilliantly supported Ashley Paul at one of Cry Parrot’s last Nice N Sleazy bashes. He will take part in the Counterflows’ Residency and be working along-side Andrea Neumann at the CCA Creative Lab. Adam’s collaborative spirit will hopefully lend itself to some interesting results which will be presented on Counterflows Saturday.
